1968cuda - Second Quarter 2008 April

Okay, here are a few pictures from April 26. The first is of the repair done infront of the passenger side door. The second is the section infront of the dirver door before repair and patch. Next is a picture of the hood, 99% complete. Lastly is a picture of the underside of the front of the hood. This patch and repair took several days and was very annoying. I am pretty much done with the welding and grinding stage of the hood at least until I get the fenders and grill done and hung. I will add more pictures and updates soon.

Here is an update from June 21. The top left picture is how the cas sits. The center picture is of the fabrication of the passenger fender behind the headlight. I had to discard most of it and make this piece from scratch. The right picture is of the fenders, you can see that one of the patch panels is on and I still have some sandblasting to do on the other. The last two pictures show under the fenders on both sides after welding and painting. There are some before pictures of this in the above section.
